Loading Bay Hand (Beverage Depot)

Delivery days start early in Worcester, and a parcel sorting hub needs you on the bay before the trucks roll. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

The site is in Worcester; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

• Assemble or place furniture where the customer asks
• Offload containers by hand, counting cartons as they come off
• Sweep the bay and clear shrink-wrap after each loading
• Strap and secure loads so nothing shifts in transit
• Load trucks from the load sheet in drop order, last stop first
• Get proof-of-delivery notes signed and stamped at each drop

• Friendly with customers at the door
• Able to lift and carry heavy items all day
• Willing to travel on routes that return late
• Honest; you will be handling customer goods and cash-on-delivery slips
• No criminal record

• Basic furniture assembly skills
• A Code 8 or Code 10 licence (a route to becoming a driver)

• Uniform and safety shoes provided
• Help to get your own licence through the company later
• Route-completion incentives in busy months
• Meal allowance on long-route days
