Lodgement Clerk (Deeds Office)

You'll move property transfers from signed offer to registration at a property development law firm in Kempton Park. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

You'll be based at a property development law firm in Kempton Park. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

• Prepare deeds of transfer, powers of attorney and bond documents
• Fix Deeds Office rejection notes quickly and relodge
• Run Deeds Office searches and title deed checks
• Book signing appointments and explain costs to buyers and sellers
• Prepare final statements of account and pay out on registration
• Update agents, banks and clients on file progress on the bank portal and by email
• Lodge documents at the Deeds Office and track them through examination

• Experience on a conveyancing system such as GhostConvey, LegalSuite or AJS
• Matric, with a conveyancing course for secretary posts
• Admission as a conveyancer for conveyancer posts
• Knowledge of bank panel instruction portals and LAWtrust digital signing
• Clear, polite updates to anxious buyers and sellers
