Loss Control Officer (Mall Stores)

Retail in Rustenburg runs on thin margins, and a building-supplies store needs someone guarding its stock. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

This post is Rustenburg-based, with most of your time spent at a building-supplies store. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

• Tag high-value stock and check security tags at the doors
• Check receiving bay deliveries against invoices and seal numbers
• Record every incident with photos, times and value of goods
• Review CCTV footage to confirm suspected theft
• Walk the floor in plain clothes and watch for shoplifting behaviour

• Able to handle confrontation calmly

• Matric or equivalent NQF Level 4
• Knowledge of lawful arrest and search under the Criminal Procedure Act
• Available for retail hours including month-end weekends
