Job Description

You'll catch shoplifting and stock losses at a building-supplies store in Epping before they cost jobs. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

This post is in Epping (Western Cape). Please only apply if you can travel there daily.

What you'll actually do

Detain suspects lawfully and call SAPS, then write a statement
Record every incident with photos, times and value of goods
Walk the floor in plain clothes and watch for shoplifting behaviour
Share trends with the store manager each week
Help with stock counts and point out loss hot-spots
Attend court as a witness when a case goes to trial

Must-haves

PSIRA registration, Grade C at least
Good report writing
Able to handle confrontation calmly
Available for retail hours including month-end weekends
