Loss Prevention Officer (Distribution Centre)

Retail in Fourways runs on thin margins, and a supermarket needs someone guarding its stock. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

Location: Fourways, Gauteng. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first.

• Share trends with the store manager each week
• Detain suspects lawfully and call SAPS, then write a statement
• Tag high-value stock and check security tags at the doors
• Search staff bags at exit points according to store policy
• Walk the floor in plain clothes and watch for shoplifting behaviour

• Knowledge of lawful arrest and search under the Criminal Procedure Act
• Able to handle confrontation calmly
• Discreet, observant and honest
• Good report writing

• Plain clothes work (no uniform in detective roles)
