You'll watch the screens and radios at a remote video monitoring centre in Centurion, and send help the moment something is wrong. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

This post is in Centurion (Gauteng). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

• Hand over open incidents clearly at shift change
• Keep call-out times and client passwords up to date
• Report camera faults and offline sites to the technicians
• Pull and save video footage for incident investigations
• Log every event and action on the monitoring software
• Answer alarm signals and phone clients to verify them
• Track stolen vehicles on the map and guide recovery teams

• Clear speaking voice on radio and phone
• Computer literate and quick on a keyboard
• Good memory for sites, streets and procedures
• Able to stay focused through 12-hour day and night shifts
• PSIRA registration, Grade C or higher
• Matric

• Shift allowance for nights
• Training on the monitoring software
• Path to senior controller or supervisor

• Some companies give a typing and map test. Practise finding streets on a map quickly before the interview.
• Show you can stay alert at night. If you have done night shift before without problems, say so.
