Management Accountant (Retail Group) – Immediate Start

An audit and advisory firm in Kariega needs an accountant who can close fast and explain the variances. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

Home base is an audit and advisory firm on the Kariega side of Eastern Cape.

• Draft annual financial statements under IFRS or IFRS for SMEs
• Calculate provisional tax and check the VAT201 before submission
• Prepare monthly management accounts with variance commentary
• Build budgets and rolling forecasts with department heads
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and clear old reconciling items
• Prepare the audit file and answer auditor queries
• Run cash flow forecasts and manage the weekly payment run

• At least 3 years of post-qualification accounting experience
• Experience on an ERP such as Sage X3, Sage 300, Syspro or SAP Business One
• BCom Accounting or equivalent degree
• You meet month-end deadlines without being chased
• Strong Excel skills, including large data sets and lookups

• Power BI or a similar BI tool
• CA(SA) with SAICA, or AGA(SA) or Professional Accountant (SA) with SAIPA
