Management Accountant (Retail Group) – Immediate Start

Your reports shape real decisions at this national retail chain head office in Rustenburg, so they must be right. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

You'll report in Rustenburg. Relocation is not covered for this one.

• Prepare the audit file and answer auditor queries
• Draft annual financial statements under IFRS or IFRS for SMEs
• Improve controls, such as segregation of duties on supplier changes
• Run cash flow forecasts and manage the weekly payment run
• Track stock costing, standard costs and production variances
• Build budgets and rolling forecasts with department heads

• Understanding of South African income tax and VAT
• Strong Excel skills, including large data sets and lookups
• BCom Accounting or equivalent degree
• Experience on an ERP such as Sage X3, Sage 300, Syspro or SAP Business One

• Completed articles at an audit firm
• CIMA qualification for management accounting posts
