Fixed Asset Accountant (Mining)

You'll be based at a mid-sized manufacturing group in Rustenburg. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and clear old reconciling items
• Prepare the audit file and answer auditor queries
• Run cash flow forecasts and manage the weekly payment run
• Improve controls, such as segregation of duties on supplier changes
• Build budgets and rolling forecasts with department heads

• Strong Excel skills, including large data sets and lookups
• BCom Accounting or equivalent degree
• Understanding of South African income tax and VAT
• You meet month-end deadlines without being chased
• At least 3 years of post-qualification accounting experience

• CIMA qualification for management accounting posts
• Completed articles at an audit firm
