At a medical billing bureau in East London, your job is clean files, correct codes and money that comes in on time. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

Home base is a medical billing bureau on the East London side of Eastern Cape.

• Code consultations and procedures with ICD-10 and CCSA or NHRPL tariffs
• Send monthly statements and age the debtors book
• Check medical aid membership and benefits before each consultation
• Answer the phones and send clinical questions to the right nurse or doctor
• Open patient files and capture consent forms in line with POPIA
• Take payments, issue receipts and balance the cash-up at close
• Chase short payments with medical schemes and patients

• Sound knowledge of ICD-10 coding and medical aid tariff codes
• Confident with Excel and email
• You keep patient information private, every time
• Experience on a practice system such as GoodX, Elixir, Medinol or Healthbridge
• Matric

• Parking on site
• Normal practice hours with most weekends off
