Merchandiser (Grocery Rep Route)

Shoppers in Bethlehem judge a liquor store by its shelves, and that is where you come in. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

Location: Bethlehem, Free State. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

• Build promotional displays at the ends of aisles
• Help customers find products and carry heavy items to cars
• Collect trolleys from the parking lot
• Check sell-by dates and pull expired stock for the manager
• Unpack deliveries in the receiving area and sort by aisle
• Clean spills fast and put up wet-floor signs

• Available for weekends, month-end and public holidays
• Grade 10 or matric
• Polite with customers and happy to help
• Basic reading and maths for price checks
• Able to stand and lift cases all shift

• Being 18 or older for liquor store roles
• Some till or cash-handling experience
• Previous shelf packing or merchandising work

• Staff discount on groceries
• Chance to move into till or department roles
• Travel allowance on merchandising routes
