Merchandiser (Supermarket Route)

This dairy producer needs a rep in Epping who knows the shops, the owners and the numbers. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

Home base is a dairy producer on the Epping side of Western Cape. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

• Check shelf prices against the promo list and fix wrong tickets.
• Open new accounts with taverns, spazas and independent retailers.
• Log kilometres and fuel slips for the monthly claim.
• Pack shelves, rotate stock and remove damaged or expired lines.
• Run in-store tastings and demos on month-end weekends.
• Visit 8 to 15 outlets a day on a planned call cycle.

• Comfortable with a smartphone sales app and WhatsApp reporting
• A valid Code 08 (Code B) driver's licence, for rep roles
• Good with people from store managers to tuck-shop owners
• Physically able to lift cases and pack shelves

• Your own reliable car for a car-allowance position
• Existing relationships with independent retailers
• Speaking two or more local languages

• Product samples and staff pricing
• Company vehicle or car allowance plus petrol card
• Cellphone and data allowance
