Job Description

You'll cover a route of stores around Middelburg (MP), selling in stock and fixing shelves as you go. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

Home base is a pet food manufacturer on the Middelburg (MP) side of Mpumalanga. The first two weeks are spent shadowing someone experienced.

The work, day to day

Take orders from store managers and spaza owners on the sales app.
Track competitor pricing and new products in your area.
Visit 8 to 15 outlets a day on a planned call cycle.
Check shelf prices against the promo list and fix wrong tickets.
Collect cash or EFT proof on van sales and bank daily.

What you need

You can work to daily and monthly volume targets
1 to 3 years of FMCG, merchandising or route sales experience
You know the townships, suburbs and main roads of your area
Physically able to lift cases and pack shelves
