Merchandiser (Supermarket Route) – Experienced

You'll cover a route of stores around Rosslyn, selling in stock and fixing shelves as you go. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

Location: Rosslyn, Gauteng. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

• Set up promotional displays and check planogram compliance with photos.
• Visit 8 to 15 outlets a day on a planned call cycle.
• Check shelf prices against the promo list and fix wrong tickets.
• Take orders from store managers and spaza owners on the sales app.
• Handle returns and credit claims for damaged stock.
• Log kilometres and fuel slips for the monthly claim.
• Pack shelves, rotate stock and remove damaged or expired lines.

• You can work to daily and monthly volume targets
• Comfortable with a smartphone sales app and WhatsApp reporting
• Matric
• Physically able to lift cases and pack shelves
• A valid Code 08 (Code B) driver's licence, for rep roles

• Speaking two or more local languages
• A sales or marketing certificate
• Existing relationships with independent retailers

• Branded uniform and safety boots
• Company vehicle or car allowance plus petrol card
• Cellphone and data allowance

• Recruiters check your licence first, so attach a clear certified copy and note any clean driving record.
• Bring numbers: cases sold per month, new outlets opened or growth percentages on your route.
