Merchandiser (Supermarket Route) – Fixed-Term

You'll cover a route of stores around Secunda, selling in stock and fixing shelves as you go. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

You'll be based at a pet food manufacturer in Secunda. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

• Handle returns and credit claims for damaged stock.
• Log kilometres and fuel slips for the monthly claim.
• Take orders from store managers and spaza owners on the sales app.
• Run in-store tastings and demos on month-end weekends.
• Collect cash or EFT proof on van sales and bank daily.

• Physically able to lift cases and pack shelves
• Good with people from store managers to tuck-shop owners
• You can work to daily and monthly volume targets
• Matric

• Existing relationships with independent retailers
• Speaking two or more local languages
• Your own reliable car for a car-allowance position

• Branded uniform and safety boots
• Cellphone and data allowance
• Product samples and staff pricing

• Recruiters check your licence first, so attach a clear certified copy and note any clean driving record.
• Bring numbers: cases sold per month, new outlets opened or growth percentages on your route.
