Job Description

You'll cover a route of stores around Secunda, selling in stock and fixing shelves as you go. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

This post is Secunda-based, with most of your time spent at a pet food manufacturer. The first two weeks are spent shadowing someone experienced.

What you'll actually do

Visit 8 to 15 outlets a day on a planned call cycle.
Handle returns and credit claims for damaged stock.
Track competitor pricing and new products in your area.
Check shelf prices against the promo list and fix wrong tickets.
Collect cash or EFT proof on van sales and bank daily.

Must-haves

Matric
A valid Code 08 (Code B) driver's licence, for rep roles
Physically able to lift cases and pack shelves
1 to 3 years of FMCG, merchandising or route sales experience
Comfortable with a smartphone sales app and WhatsApp reporting
You know the townships, suburbs and main roads of your area

Extra points for

Speaking two or more local languages
Your own reliable car for a car-allowance position
