Job Description

Out on the road for a personal care brand in Ermelo, your car is your office and the store floor is your pitch. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

This post is in Ermelo (Mpumalanga). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

What you'll actually do

Handle returns and credit claims for damaged stock.
Take orders from store managers and spaza owners on the sales app.
Track competitor pricing and new products in your area.
Send your manager a daily report with volumes against target.
Visit 8 to 15 outlets a day on a planned call cycle.
Log kilometres and fuel slips for the monthly claim.
Open new accounts with taverns, spazas and independent retailers.

What you need

A valid Code 08 (Code B) driver's licence, for rep roles
Matric
You know the townships, suburbs and main roads of your area
Good with people from store managers to tuck-shop owners
1 to 3 years of FMCG, merchandising or route sales experience
Comfortable with a smartphone sales app and WhatsApp reporting

Extra points for

A sales or marketing certificate
Existing relationships with independent retailers
Speaking two or more local languages
