Metallurgical Sampler

Keep throughput up and the plant stable at the platinum concentrator near Kathu. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

Home base is a platinum concentrator on the Kathu side of Northern Cape.

• Check pumps, cyclones and thickeners on the plant walk
• Watch mill loads, cell levels and densities on the SCADA screens
• Start up, run and shut down crushers, screens and conveyors in sequence
• Clear blocked chutes safely under isolation
• Clean spillage and keep walkways free of hazards

• Willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays
• Basic computer skills for SCADA screens and logs
• Grade 12 with mathematics and physical science
• At least 1 year operating a processing plant
• MQA minerals processing certificate at NQF 2 or higher

• Control room experience
• N4 to N6 or a diploma in Extraction Metallurgy
• Laboratory or sampling experience
