Midibus Driver (School Routes)

You'll carry passengers safely around Sasolburg for a mine shift transport service, on time and by the timetable. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

You'll be based at a mine shift transport service in Sasolburg. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

• Give tourists a friendly welcome and help with luggage on charters
• Write the trip log with times, kilometres and fuel
• Check passenger tickets, tags or staff cards when boarding
• Keep the bus clean inside and report any damage
• Inspect the bus before each trip: tyres, brakes, doors, emergency exits
• Drive fixed routes and keep to the timetable

• Valid PrDP for passengers (P)
• Medically fit
• Clean driving and criminal record
• At least 3 years of bus or taxi driving

• Company uniform
• Paid passenger PrDP renewal
• Split-shift allowance on staff transport routes

• Write "PrDP P valid until" with the date, right at the top of your CV. It is the first thing a bus operator checks.
• Mention the number of passengers you have driven and the vehicle type, like "65-seater" or "22-seater midibus".
