Job Description

Early starts, clear routes and people depending on you: a mine shift transport service in Somerset West is hiring bus drivers. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

This post is in Somerset West (Western Cape). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

The work, day to day

Give tourists a friendly welcome and help with luggage on charters
Drive fixed routes and keep to the timetable
Follow speed limits strictly; buses are tracked
Count passengers and make sure nobody stands beyond the limit
Keep the bus clean inside and report any damage

Must-haves

Patient and friendly with passengers
Valid PrDP for passengers (P)
Valid Code 10 or Code 14 licence
Clean driving and criminal record
Punctual for very early starts

Extra points for

First-aid certificate
Experience on mine or staff transport routes
