Job Description

Steady shift work with a school transport operator in Bellville for drivers with a passenger PrDP. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

You'll report in Bellville. Relocation is not covered for this one.

The work, day to day

Check passenger tickets, tags or staff cards when boarding
Give tourists a friendly welcome and help with luggage on charters
Drive fixed routes and keep to the timetable
Inspect the bus before each trip: tyres, brakes, doors, emergency exits
Write the trip log with times, kilometres and fuel
Pick up and drop off schoolchildren only at approved points

You'll need

Punctual for very early starts
Valid PrDP for passengers (P)
Medically fit
Valid Code 10 or Code 14 licence
Clean driving and criminal record
Patient and friendly with passengers

Extra points for

Experience on mine or staff transport routes
Fluent in more than one language
