Job Description

Passengers in Mthatha trust a tour and charter company to get them there safely, and that trust is on your shoulders. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

Location: Mthatha, Eastern Cape. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first.

The work, day to day

Keep the bus clean inside and report any damage
Check passenger tickets, tags or staff cards when boarding
Inspect the bus before each trip: tyres, brakes, doors, emergency exits
Follow speed limits strictly; buses are tracked
Drive fixed routes and keep to the timetable
Give tourists a friendly welcome and help with luggage on charters

Must-haves

Valid PrDP for passengers (P)
At least 3 years of bus or taxi driving
Valid Code 10 or Code 14 licence
Patient and friendly with passengers
Clean driving and criminal record

Nice if you have

First-aid certificate
Fluent in more than one language
