Job Description

Officers look to you on every shift at a guarding contract across several sites in Germiston. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

The site is in Germiston; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

What you'll actually do

Run on-site training on procedures and emergency drills
Plan the monthly roster to stay within legal working hours
Meet the client weekly on security concerns
Order and issue uniform, radios and torches
Investigate incidents and write reports for the client
Post officers when the shift changes over and cover no-shows
Check that PSIRA registrations of staff on site are current

What you need

Firm with staff but fair and consistent
Valid Code 8 licence and willing to drive between sites
Confident writer of incident reports and rosters
PSIRA Grade B (Grade A for area manager posts)
