Job Description

Step up from guarding into supervising on a hospital complex in Isando. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

This post is Isando-based, with most of your time spent at a hospital complex.

What you'll actually do

Handle discipline issues fairly and keep written records
Run on-site training on procedures and emergency drills
Post officers when the shift changes over and cover no-shows
Plan the monthly roster to stay within legal working hours
Meet the client weekly on security concerns
Investigate incidents and write reports for the client

Must-haves

PSIRA Grade B (Grade A for area manager posts)
Confident writer of incident reports and rosters
Firm with staff but fair and consistent
Matric, with a security management course a plus

Nice if you have

Labour relations or basic supervision course
Mining or hospital security experience
Handgun competency for armed supervisor posts
