Job Description

Shrinkage hurts every fashion retail store; in Krugersdorp, you would be the one tracking it down. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

The work is in Krugersdorp, Gauteng, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day.

What you'll actually do

Review CCTV footage to confirm suspected theft
Check receiving bay deliveries against invoices and seal numbers
Detain suspects lawfully and call SAPS, then write a statement
Help with stock counts and point out loss hot-spots
Attend court as a witness when a case goes to trial

What you need

Good report writing
Discreet, observant and honest
Knowledge of lawful arrest and search under the Criminal Procedure Act
Available for retail hours including month-end weekends
PSIRA registration, Grade C at least
Matric or equivalent NQF Level 4

Helpful, not essential

Understanding of stock systems and shrinkage reports
Experience giving evidence in court
