Job Description

Officers look to you on every shift at a hospital complex in Montague Gardens. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

This post is Montague Gardens-based, with most of your time spent at a hospital complex.

What your day looks like

Inspect guards on post for uniform, alertness and OB entries
Meet the client weekly on security concerns
Plan the monthly roster to stay within legal working hours
Check that PSIRA registrations of staff on site are current
Run on-site training on procedures and emergency drills
Post officers when the shift changes over and cover no-shows
Order and issue uniform, radios and torches

You'll need

PSIRA Grade B (Grade A for area manager posts)
Matric, with a security management course a plus
Firm with staff but fair and consistent
Valid Code 8 licence and willing to drive between sites
