Job Description

You'll build and ship features that real users touch every day, for a logistics software company in Montague Gardens. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

Home base is a logistics software company on the Montague Gardens side of Western Cape.

What you'll actually do

Review teammates' pull requests with useful comments
Design database tables and write efficient SQL queries
Join daily stand-ups and sprint planning
Document how your features work for support and new developers
Pair with junior developers to unblock them
Handle personal data safely, with POPIA rules in mind
Write unit and integration tests before you merge

What you need

Good SQL and understanding of relational databases
Stable internet and a quiet workspace for remote days
Experience writing automated tests
Commercial experience in at least one of PHP, C#, Java, Python or JavaScript
You can explain technical choices to non-technical people

Nice if you have

Knowledge of secure coding and the OWASP Top 10
Public GitHub portfolio or published app
