Mobile Developer (Flutter)

You'll build and ship features that real users touch every day, for a bank's digital channels team in Rosslyn. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

This post is in Rosslyn (Gauteng). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

• Write, test and refactor code in your team's main language
• Write unit and integration tests before you merge
• Pair with junior developers to unblock them
• Pick up tickets from the sprint board and estimate the work
• Document how your features work for support and new developers
• Investigate production bugs using logs and monitoring dashboards
• Review teammates' pull requests with useful comments

• Solid Git habits: branches, pull requests and meaningful commit messages
• Commercial experience in at least one of PHP, C#, Java, Python or JavaScript
• Experience writing automated tests
• Stable internet and a quiet workspace for remote days
• Good SQL and understanding of relational databases

• Experience in regulated sectors such as banking or medical schemes
• Knowledge of secure coding and the OWASP Top 10
• Public GitHub portfolio or published app
