Job Description

A clean Code 8 licence and good street sense will get you started at an e-commerce delivery hub in Komani. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

This post is in Komani (Eastern Cape). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

What your day looks like

Fill up the vehicle and keep fuel slips for the logbook
Return undelivered parcels to the depot with a reason code
Deliver chronic medication to patients' homes and confirm ID
Load parcels in route order from the depot scanning area
Keep your vehicle or bike clean and report faults
Collect spares and parts from suppliers and bring them to the workshop
Bank cheques, post documents and run office errands

You'll need

At least 1 year of driving experience
Good sense of direction and map reading
Clean driving record and no criminal record
Smartphone and comfortable using delivery apps
Polite with customers at the door

Nice if you have

PrDP for staff shuttle posts
Knowledge of the city's industrial areas
Your own reliable bakkie or bike for owner-driver contracts
