Job Description

You'll zip parcels, spares or documents around Pietermaritzburg for a pharmacy chain, all day, all over town. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

Home base is a pharmacy chain on the Pietermaritzburg side of KwaZulu-Natal. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

What your day looks like

Scan parcels on delivery and take a photo or signature
Return undelivered parcels to the depot with a reason code
Keep your vehicle or bike clean and report faults
Load parcels in route order from the depot scanning area
Deliver chronic medication to patients' homes and confirm ID
Fill up the vehicle and keep fuel slips for the logbook
Follow the delivery app for route and stop order

You'll need

Valid Code 8 (B) licence, or A licence for motorbike roles
Smartphone and comfortable using delivery apps
Able to work Saturdays
At least 1 year of driving experience

Extra points for

PrDP for staff shuttle posts
Previous courier or last-mile experience
Your own reliable bakkie or bike for owner-driver contracts
