Motorbike Courier (Documents and Parcels)

You'll zip parcels, spares or documents around Stellenbosch for a courier depot, all day, all over town. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

Location: Stellenbosch, Western Cape. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

• Deliver chronic medication to patients' homes and confirm ID
• Phone customers when the address is hard to find
• Bank cheques, post documents and run office errands
• Return undelivered parcels to the depot with a reason code
• Fill up the vehicle and keep fuel slips for the logbook

• Valid Code 8 (B) licence, or A licence for motorbike roles
• Good sense of direction and map reading
• Polite with customers at the door
• At least 1 year of driving experience
• Smartphone and comfortable using delivery apps
• Clean driving record and no criminal record

• Your own reliable bakkie or bike for owner-driver contracts
• PrDP for staff shuttle posts

• Fuel card for work trips
• Company van, bakkie or scooter provided
• Branded uniform and rain gear
• Per-drop incentive on busy days

• Say you have a smartphone and know delivery apps. Most courier jobs now run through an app and training time is short.
• If you have a clean driving record, write "no accidents, no traffic fines" plainly. It is what recruiters look for.
