Job Description

You'll fix what breaks and prevent what might, around the city hotel in Centurion. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

Home base is a city hotel on the Centurion side of Gauteng.

The work, day to day

Patch, sand and paint walls, doors and ceilings between tenants
Service pool pumps, gate motors and garage door openers
Hang doors, fit locks and adjust sliding door rails
Clear gutters and fix minor roof leaks with sealant
Change globes, fluorescent tubes and plug covers (no DB work)

You'll need

Code 08 licence to run errands to the hardware store
Available for the occasional weekend emergency
Grade 10 at least; matric is a plus
Basic painting, tiling, plumbing and carpentry skills
Honest and trusted to work inside occupied units
At least 2 years of general building maintenance work you can back up with references

Extra points for

Pool and borehole pump experience
Gate motor and intercom repair skills
Experience with a work order system on a phone app
