Multi-Skilled Maintenance Hand (Retirement Village) – Experienced

Every day is different here: small repairs, painting and planned maintenance at the private school in Randburg. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

Home base is a private school on the Randburg side of Gauteng.

• Patch, sand and paint walls, doors and ceilings between tenants
• Check fire extinguishers, emergency lights and escape routes on a monthly checklist
• Lay and repair floor tiles and re-grout wet areas
• Work through the maintenance log each morning and prioritise urgent requests
• Keep the maintenance store tidy and track stock used
• Hang doors, fit locks and adjust sliding door rails

• Available for the occasional weekend emergency
• Honest and trusted to work inside occupied units
• Basic painting, tiling, plumbing and carpentry skills
• Your own tools are a plus, but safe tool handling is a must

• Pool and borehole pump experience
• Experience with a work order system on a phone app
• Gate motor and intercom repair skills

• Uniform and safety boots supplied
• On-site accommodation at some estates
• Training on specialised equipment like gate motors and pool plant
