Job Description

Passengers in Rosslyn trust a mine shift transport service to get them there safely, and that trust is on your shoulders. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

You'll be based at a mine shift transport service in Rosslyn. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

What you'll actually do

Check passenger tickets, tags or staff cards when boarding
Inspect the bus before each trip: tyres, brakes, doors, emergency exits
Pick up and drop off schoolchildren only at approved points
Handle breakdowns calmly and keep passengers safe until help arrives
Give tourists a friendly welcome and help with luggage on charters

What you need

Valid PrDP for passengers (P)
Clean driving and criminal record
Valid Code 10 or Code 14 licence
At least 3 years of bus or taxi driving
Patient and friendly with passengers
Medically fit

Extra points for

Fluent in more than one language
Experience on mine or staff transport routes
