Network Technician (Fibre and Wireless)

When the network goes down at this data centre in Springs, you're the one who brings it back. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

• Work with ISPs on link faults and fibre installs
• Troubleshoot load-shedding related outages and UPS failures
• Configure switches, VLANs, VPNs and firewall rules
• Document network diagrams and change records
• Build and maintain virtual machines on Hyper-V, VMware or Azure

• Willing to do standby and after-hours maintenance
• Clear change management and documentation habits
• Solid TCP/IP, routing, switching and firewall knowledge
• At least 3 years in systems, network or cloud administration
• Scripting in PowerShell, Bash or Python
• Degree or diploma in IT, plus relevant certifications

• Experience with SIEM tools such as Microsoft Sentinel or Wazuh
• ISO 27001 audit experience
• Infrastructure-as-code with Terraform or Ansible
