Job Description

Steady 12-hour shifts at a gated residential estate in Harrismith for PSIRA-registered officers. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

Home base is a gated residential estate on the Harrismith side of Free State.

The work, day to day

Call the armed response or SAPS number from the call list when needed
Search vehicles and bags leaving the site when company policy requires it
Patrol the perimeter on a set route and scan checkpoint tags
Hand out and collect contractor access cards
Keep the guardhouse clean and the OB up to date for the relieving officer

Must-haves

Clean criminal record
Alert, polite and firm with the public
Physically fit for foot patrols
Clear, neat handwriting for the OB and registers
Grade 10 minimum; matric preferred
