Occupational Trainer (Artisan Workshop)

An accredited training provider in Stellenbosch needs a facilitator who can teach, assess and keep the paperwork audit-ready. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

• Give feedback on course materials so the next intake runs better
• Develop lesson plans, case studies and assessment guides
• Facilitate classroom and workplace sessions against the learning programme
• Coach learners who are behind and plan re-assessments
• Moderate other assessors' decisions and sign off moderation reports
• Run practical demonstrations in the workshop with safety briefings

• Own transport for training at client sites
• Relevant qualification at least one NQF level above the one you'll teach
• At least 3 years of working experience in the subject field
• Computer literate in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Confident presenting to groups of 20 or more adults

• SDF registration and WSP/ATR submission experience
• Trade test certificate for artisan training posts

• Holiday breaks between intakes at colleges
• Paid re-registration with your SETA
• Day-rate contracts with steady bookings
