Job Description

People notice a clean shopping centre; in eMalahleni, you would be the reason it shines. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

Home base is a shopping centre on the eMalahleni side of Mpumalanga.

The work, day to day

Run a scrubber-dryer machine on large tiled areas
Clean glass doors and internal windows without streaks
Refill toilet paper, hand towel and soap dispensers
Mix cleaning chemicals at the dilution shown on the label, never by guesswork
Sign the ablution checklist on the back of the door after each clean
Empty bins and take waste to the correct recycling or general skip
Clean the kitchenette, wash cups and wipe down the fridge and microwave

Must-haves

Able to stand, bend and walk for a full shift
Able to start early, often 05:00 or 06:00
Grade 10 or higher
Honest, because you work around laptops and personal items
Comfortable using cleaning chemicals safely with gloves

Helpful, not essential

Tea service or kitchen experience
Training on a floor polisher or scrubber machine
Supervisory experience for team leader posts
