Office Cleaner (Morning Shift)

Early starts, clear routines and a steady contract at a corporate office park in Secunda. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

You'll be based at a corporate office park in Secunda. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

• Mix cleaning chemicals at the dilution shown on the label, never by guesswork
• Refill toilet paper, hand towel and soap dispensers
• Vacuum carpets and mop hard floors following the daily cleaning schedule
• Report broken fittings, leaks or empty stock to the site supervisor
• Clean the kitchenette, wash cups and wipe down the fridge and microwave
• Clean and disinfect toilets, basins and urinals several times a shift
• Sign the ablution checklist on the back of the door after each clean

• Honest, because you work around laptops and personal items
• Grade 10 or higher
• Able to start early, often 05:00 or 06:00
• Clean criminal record for most corporate sites

• Training on a floor polisher or scrubber machine
• Tea service or kitchen experience
• Previous contract cleaning experience with a reference

• Uniform and cleaning gloves provided
• Paid overtime for weekend deep cleans
• UIF and paid leave under the cleaning sector rules

• List each site you have cleaned (office, mall, school) and how long you stayed. Contractors want people who stick with a site.
• Ask a former supervisor if you can put their number on your CV. Cleaning contractors almost always phone a reference.
