Offloader (Container Depot)

Delivery days start early in Burgersfort, and a cement and brick yard needs you on the bay before the trucks roll. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

Location: Burgersfort, Limpopo. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

• Stack returns and empties neatly for the next count
• Ride with the driver and carry goods into customers' premises
• Guide trucks reversing into the bay with hand signals
• Offload containers by hand, counting cartons as they come off
• Strap and secure loads so nothing shifts in transit

• Friendly with customers at the door
• Honest; you will be handling customer goods and cash-on-delivery slips
• No criminal record
• Grade 9 or higher and able to read a delivery note

• Speaking more than one local language for customer drops
• Past work as a driver's assistant
• Basic furniture assembly skills

• Route-completion incentives in busy months
• Help to get your own licence through the company later
• Uniform and safety shoes provided
• Meal allowance on long-route days
