Offloader (Container Depot) – Permanent

Delivery days start early in Kariega, and a beverage depot needs you on the bay before the trucks roll. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

You'll report in Kariega. Relocation is not covered for this one. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

• Stack returns and empties neatly for the next count
• Check goods received against the delivery note and flag shorts
• Offload containers by hand, counting cartons as they come off
• Sweep the bay and clear shrink-wrap after each loading
• Guide trucks reversing into the bay with hand signals
• Ride with the driver and carry goods into customers' premises
• Assemble or place furniture where the customer asks

• No criminal record
• Grade 9 or higher and able to read a delivery note
• Comfortable starting from 04:00 or working late loading shifts
• Able to lift and carry heavy items all day
• Friendly with customers at the door

• Meal allowance on long-route days
• Uniform and safety shoes provided
• Route-completion incentives in busy months

• If you are learning to drive, mention it. Depots like to grow assistants into drivers.
• Say what hours you can start. Loading bays often hire the person who can be there at 04:00 without fail.
