Job Description

Pick up afternoon or evening sessions with an online tutoring platform in Rustenburg and put your subject knowledge to work. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

The work is in Rustenburg, North West, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

What your day looks like

Assess a new learner's level with a short diagnostic test
Log hours and sessions on the agency's booking system for payment
Set practice work between sessions and check it next time
Adjust your pace for learners with ADHD, dyslexia or anxiety
Work through past exam papers and marking memos with learners

What you need

Distinction or strong pass in the subject you'll tutor
Clear, patient way of explaining ideas
Reliable internet and a quiet place to teach for online posts
Own transport for home tutoring posts
Available at least three afternoons or evenings a week
Currently studying at university, or holding a degree or diploma
