Onsite IT Support Engineer (Corporate Office)

Get hands-on support experience at a managed IT services provider in Brits, from password resets to new laptop builds. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

The work is in Brits, North West, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. The first two weeks are spent shadowing someone experienced.

• Visit branches or sites to fix issues that need hands on the machine
• Replace faulty hardware and log warranty claims with suppliers
• Install and configure printers, scanners and docking stations
• Log, prioritise and update tickets on the service desk system
• Keep the asset register up to date when equipment moves
• Write short how-to guides for common user problems

• Working knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 and Microsoft 365
• At least 1 year of help desk or desktop support (not needed for intern posts)
• Code B driver's licence and own car for field posts
• Patient and friendly with non-technical users
• Able to log clear, complete ticket notes

• Paid certification exams after probation
• Travel allowance for field technicians
• Clear path to second-line and systems roles
