Onsite IT Support Engineer (Corporate Office) – Permanent

Get hands-on support experience at a group of private schools in Centurion, from password resets to new laptop builds. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

Home base is a group of private schools on the Centurion side of Gauteng.

• Replace faulty hardware and log warranty claims with suppliers
• Visit branches or sites to fix issues that need hands on the machine
• Connect users remotely with a remote support tool to fix issues
• Keep the asset register up to date when equipment moves
• Log, prioritise and update tickets on the service desk system
• Install and configure printers, scanners and docking stations
• Write short how-to guides for common user problems

• Matric plus an IT qualification, such as CompTIA A+ or an IT diploma
• Working knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 and Microsoft 365
• Basic networking: IP addresses, DNS, DHCP and Wi-Fi
• Able to log clear, complete ticket notes

• Experience supporting point-of-sale or medical devices
• CompTIA Network+ or Microsoft MD-102 certification

• Company laptop and cellphone
• Paid certification exams after probation
• Travel allowance for field technicians
• Clear path to second-line and systems roles

• List your certifications right under your name; A+ and ITIL are common keyword filters.
• Be ready for a practical test on a real laptop or a phone troubleshooting role-play.
