Packhouse Line Packer (Table Grapes)

You'll sort, grade and pack fruit for export at a berry packing facility near Klerksdorp. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

You'll report in Klerksdorp. Relocation is not covered for this one. Start date: as soon as possible for the right person.

• Check fruit samples and record quality results on the QC sheet
• Follow food safety rules like hand washing and no jewellery
• Stick labels and batch codes on each carton
• Keep your packing station clean and free of stems and leaves
• Build pallets to the correct height and strap them
• Sort fruit by size, colour and blemish on the packing line

• Able to stand at a line for long shifts
• Follows hygiene rules at all times
• Arrives on time for early shifts
• Basic counting and reading for labels
• Available for the full packing season including Saturdays
• Quick and neat with your hands

• Previous packhouse work
• Forklift licence for palletising roles
• Knowledge of export standards like GLOBALG.A.P.

• Rehire for next season if you perform well
• Transport from nearby towns
• Overtime pay during peak weeks
• Protective clothing supplied

• If you want a QC post, bring your matric certificate and say you can write neat records.
