Packhouse Quality Controller (Seasonal)

You'll sort, grade and pack fruit for export at an avocado packhouse near Burgersfort. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

Home base is an avocado packhouse on the Burgersfort side of Limpopo. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

• Stick labels and batch codes on each carton
• Build pallets to the correct height and strap them
• Sort fruit by size, colour and blemish on the packing line
• Help clean the line and machines at the end of the day
• Pack cartons to the export pattern and weight

• Valid ID or permit
• Quick and neat with your hands
• Follows hygiene rules at all times
• Available for the full packing season including Saturdays
• Arrives on time for early shifts
• Basic counting and reading for labels

• Knowledge of export standards like GLOBALG.A.P.
• Forklift licence for palletising roles

• Transport from nearby towns
• Protective clothing supplied
• Overtime pay during peak weeks
• Rehire for next season if you perform well

• If you want a QC post, bring your matric certificate and say you can write neat records.
