Packhouse Quality Controller (Seasonal) – Permanent

You'll sort, grade and pack fruit for export at a table grape packhouse near George. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

The site is in George; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

• Sort fruit by size, colour and blemish on the packing line
• Move pallets into cold rooms and record temperatures
• Follow food safety rules like hand washing and no jewellery
• Stick labels and batch codes on each carton
• Check fruit samples and record quality results on the QC sheet
• Pack cartons to the export pattern and weight

• Arrives on time for early shifts
• Basic counting and reading for labels

• Able to stand at a line for long shifts

• Available for the full packing season including Saturdays

• Matric for QC posts
