Packhouse Worker (Citrus Season)

You'll sort, grade and pack fruit for export at an avocado packhouse near Kathu. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

The site is in Kathu; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

• Help clean the line and machines at the end of the day
• Move pallets into cold rooms and record temperatures
• Pack cartons to the export pattern and weight
• Sort fruit by size, colour and blemish on the packing line
• Keep your packing station clean and free of stems and leaves
• Stick labels and batch codes on each carton

• Quick and neat with your hands
• Follows hygiene rules at all times
• Valid ID or permit
• Available for the full packing season including Saturdays
• Basic counting and reading for labels
• Arrives on time for early shifts

• Matric for QC posts
