Packhouse Worker (Citrus Season) – Entry Level

You'll sort, grade and pack fruit for export at a table grape packhouse near Lephalale. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

The work is in Lephalale, Limpopo, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

• Build pallets to the correct height and strap them
• Check fruit samples and record quality results on the QC sheet
• Move pallets into cold rooms and record temperatures
• Follow food safety rules like hand washing and no jewellery
• Keep your packing station clean and free of stems and leaves
• Help clean the line and machines at the end of the day
• Stack empty cartons and punnets ready for the next run

• Quick and neat with your hands
• Basic counting and reading for labels
• Able to stand at a line for long shifts
• Available for the full packing season including Saturdays
• Arrives on time for early shifts
• Valid ID or permit

• Overtime pay during peak weeks

• Rehire for next season if you perform well
