Paint Shop Operator (Vehicle Manufacturing) – Immediate Start

The automotive component manufacturer in Mamelodi needs operators who follow the standard work and speak up when something is wrong. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

You'll report in Mamelodi. Relocation is not covered for this one. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

• Check parts for defects before they go into the vehicle
• Take part in kaizen ideas to improve your station
• Wear the correct PPE, including gloves, glasses and ear protection
• Pull the andon cord when a defect or safety issue appears
• Keep your station clean using 5S rules
• Assemble components at your station within the line cycle time

• Able to pass a basic literacy and numeracy test
• Can follow written and visual work instructions
• Lives close enough to reach the plant on time for every shift
• Able to stand for a full shift and do repeat tasks without losing focus
• Good eyesight and hand coordination

• Previous experience in an automotive plant
• Basic computer skills
• Forklift licence for material handling

• Include any factory or line work you have done, even outside the car industry. It shows you can handle shift work.
